Australian financial journalist Alan Kohler has called Bitcoin a "rebellion" in the financial sector, despite regulatory bias against cryptocurrencies.

Adam Kohler explained that despite the collapse of the cryptocurrency market in 2022, Bitcoin undermines all the foundations of financial capitalism. The supply of Bitcoin is limited to 21 million coins, and its emission is limited by specified parameters, in contrast to central banks that print money in unlimited quantities.

“Bitcoin is not a Ponzi-type crypto pyramid scam or a bubble, but a revolutionary asset in the financial system that will revolutionize the financial system,” Kohler said.

The journalist praised Bitcoin for its predictability, despite its volatility. Kohler recalled statements from many players in the traditional financial industry predicting Bitcoin would fall to zero. For example, similar statements were made by investment industry veteran Charles Munger, who opposed investing in digital assets. Venture investor Kevin O'Leary is also convinced that sooner or later most crypto assets will lose their value.

However, this did not happen - on the contrary, Bitcoin recovered and reached another record high, Kohler noted. There is a possibility that the first cryptocurrency will fall again, but in no case to zero. Only experts who do not understand its significance in today’s geopolitical and financial realities believe in the collapse of Bitcoin, so skeptics are doomed to eternal bewilderment, the journalist said.

Billionaire Mark Cuban also agrees with Kohler's opinion. He is confident that the limited supply of coins will increase the demand for Bitcoin, and this will become a catalyst for the growth of the first cryptocurrency.
